Pokemon Characters at Holocaust Museum

Officials from the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C., and the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum in Poland are calling for Pokémon Go’s maker to remove the historic sites from the locations where players can hunt for characters. This would seem a reasonable thing to do. These museums are serious places and people shouldn't be hunting for Pokemon Go characters in such a formal and serious place. You would thing that common sense would prevail but then again, I guess we should never underestimate the things people are willing to do in search of their Pokemon characters. Officials say that there are Pokéstops in parts of the Holocaust museum. “Playing the game is not appropriate in the museum, which is a memorial to the victims of Nazism,” Andrew Hollinger, the museum’s communications director, told the Washington Post. “We are trying to find out if we can get the museum excluded from the game.”
